Andrea Adler is an award-winning author, filmmaker, and pioneer of Holistic/Spiritual Marketing. Her breakout novel, Pushing Upward—winner of the Los Angeles Book Festival Award and selected as Hay House’s “Pick of the Month”—is currently being developed for film, which she co-wrote with noted screenwriter Gerald DiPego (Phenomenon, Message in a Bottle, Words and Pictures).
A veteran of stage and screen, Adler began her career as an actress in the 1970s, appearing on Broadway in Neil Simon’s Chapter Two and in a range of television series, including The Bob Newhart Show, Police Woman, and Executive Suite. Her passion for creative transformation led to her groundbreaking work in communications and consciousness, where she united business strategy with spiritual principles long before the rise of purpose-driven branding.
As founder of HolisticPR.com, Adler is recognized internationally as a leader in Holistic and Spiritual Marketing. Her three books—PR for the Holistic Healer, Creating an Abundant Practice, and the Axiom Business Book Award–winning The Science of Spiritual Marketing: Initiation into Magnetism—have become core texts for entrepreneurs and practitioners worldwide. She has delivered keynote presentations at major global conferences including The Science and Consciousness Conference, INATS (International New Age Trade Show), and Expo Ser in Mexico City, appearing alongside Deepak Chopra.
Adler’s creative work expands across media. She co-created SPANDA CARDS for the Entrepreneurial Spirit (Beyond Words), a 52-card oracle deck blending ancient wisdom with business insight, and wrote, directed, and produced the one-act play Old-Fashioned, Naughty, Everything: A Glimpse of Emily Dickinson, which premiered at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco and the Berkeley City Club. She has also written and directed short films for the American Film Institute.
Listed in Molly Lavik’s Going Supernova: The Bold Paths of 101 Superachievers, Andrea continues to merge art, story, and consciousness through her consulting, teaching, and upcoming projects—including the feature adaptation of Pushing Upward and a documentary exploring the history and philosophy of the I Ching.
